Terms & Conditions – ACCA

1. REFUNDS

  • A student is eligible for full refund (except for products/services stated as non-refundable below) of the amount paid by the student if fully paid. Request for withdrawal shall be made within 2 weeks before the commencement of class enrollment. Anything beyond this period will not be refundable. Example:
    • Products/services available:
      • Technology support fees RM20
      • BPP resources fees RM250 **Non-refundable
      • Tuition fees RM999

** The amounts in the example above are based on the fees of TYMBA Education P Paper Masterclass.
** Other programmes do have the same products/services but the fee amount will vary.

2. COURSE TRANSFER

  • A student is eligible to transfer from one programme of study and subsequently enrolls into another programme due to financial difficulties, health or other reasons but subject to TYMBA Management’s approval.
  • The fees paid will be transferred to the newly enrolled programme. However, in the circumstances where the previously enrolled programme has already commenced, the amount paid will be deducted based on the normal price of the previously enrolled programme on a pro-rata basis to the total number of hours of the previously enrolled live class and student is required to pay the prorated amount immediately before gaining access to the newly enrolled programme.
  • In the circumstances where a student is transferred to a programme which costs differently than the previously enrolled programme, student is eligible to get a refund if the difference is lower than the amount paid or must top up if the difference is higher than the amount paid.
  • This includes:
    • Change to a different subject in the same exam sitting.
    • Change the subject to another exam sitting.
    • Change to a different subject to another exam sitting.

3. VISA APPLICATIONS

  • TYMBA Education does not assist students with visa applications and it is under full responsibility of the students to comply with any visa requirements in order to pursue education with TYMBA Education in Malaysia stipulated by the Government of Malaysia.

4. COSTS

  • A student is required to pay the costs of Tuition fees, Technology Support fees and Resources fees as stated in the brochure/poster/image/details that have been made known publicly.
  • Should there be any promotions or any discounts via codes or links; the terms & condition and promotion / discount will be let known either publicly or directly to the students on the amount of deduction or set which the students can apply at the point of payment.

Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

TYMBA Education does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

6. ACCA Result Service

  • A student’s details will be shared with ACCA for the use of Result Service. Result service is the mechanism of gathering student data to allow for the analysis of pass rates.

7. Dates

  • A student should receive an official receipt from TYMBA Education Group Sdn. Bhd. for any payment that has been immediately or within 24 hours of the payment via email. Should there be any outstanding payment that needs to be made, a student will receive an invoice given separately via email within 24 hours of the registration of a programme.
  •  In the circumstances where a student opts for instalment payment plan, the student will be given a specific date, amount and instructions to make the payment. The specific payment date will be made known to a student when they intend to opt for the instalment payment plan (before committing any payment to TYMBA Education Group Sdn. Bhd.). The amount and instructions of the payment will be stated in the invoice being sent via email. TYMBA Education Group Sdn. Bhd. have the rights to revoke the access of the student from the online learning platform including learning materials of their ongoing programme with TYMBA Education if the payment is not settled before the specified date. Any settlement payment after a student has been revoked their access from the online learning portal will be granted access back to the student and can continue with their ongoing programme.
  • A student will be given access to the online learning platform up until the end of the exam week enrolled by the student which will be chosen by the student during registration, unless there is an arrangement being made by the student with TYMBA Education management which subject to be approved by the management of TYMBA Education.
  • A student will gain access to the online learning platform and learning materials within 5 days or earlier before the commencement of the first live class.
  • A student may also receive additional learning materials throughout the term of the enrolled programme which will be given directly to the student, uploaded on the online learning platform, or any other ways that will be informed directly to the student.

8. Technical Requirement

  • Students are required to use a computer or any other compatible devices that can be used for online learning. The devices should be equipped with Microsoft Office Application that consists of Word & Excel or any other word and spreadsheet applications including the TYMBA App for a smooth learning process commencement.

  • Tymba Student Dashboard is accessible on all operating systems using any computer or laptop and also iOS and AndroidOS. Students are highly recommended to use a computer or laptop instead of a mobile phone.

TYMBA app @ tymba.moxtra.com

  • Tymba Application is accessible on all operating systems using any computer or laptop at tymba.moxtra.com and also iOS and AndroidOS. Students may also download the Tymba App from AppStore & Google Play Store. Students are recommended to use a computer or laptop instead of a mobile phone.

9. Browser & Operating System

  • Students can access the online learning platform via computer or laptop at tymba.moxtra.com and also via any mobile phone with iOS and Android by downloading the “TYMBA” app in Apple Store or Google Play Store. All online learning platforms can be accessed via all browsers using Android and iOS.

10. Internet Speed & Bandwidth

  • General Browsing / Quiz, Assignment & Other Learning Activities / Chat & Messaging – minimum 1Mb/s
  • File Download – minimum 1Mb/s and consumption of bandwidth directly depend on the size of file size
  • Video
    • 720p  – minimum 1.5Mb/s
    • 360p – minimum 600kb/s
    • 270p – minimum 300kb/s

11. Complaint Policy

  • TYMBA Education students may lodge a complaint on any matters regarding the Academic, Students or Facility affairs to the link below.
  • All complaints will be assessed and reviewed by the management within 3 working days and responses will be communicated to the students via email or telephone.
