Syahirah is a certified accountant who first started her journey with Diploma in Accountancy (Fastrack) in Universiti Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam. After completing her diploma, she then pursued her degree in Dublin Business School, Ireland and graduated at the age of 21. Upon completing her degree, she immediately continued with ACCA in Dublin Business School and became an affiliate member of ACCA in 2010.
Syahirah’s career path started with New Straits Times Press (M) Berhad, one of Malaysia’s oldest companies. She first joined as a business executive and later as finance executive in the finance department where she received her full ACCA membership. After four years, she left the company to pursue her master’s degree.
After leaving New Straits Times Press, Syahirah pursued her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Universiti Malaya majoring in finance. She decided to leave the corporate world and start a new career in education.
Her career in education started when she joined INTEC Education College in 2018, teaching Financial Management and Investment Management for Diploma in Business Management. After 6 months, she joined IPAC Education and started teaching for professional exams. She has since taught Financial Reporting (FR), Strategic Business Reporting (SBR) for ACCA and Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) for MICPA.
Syahirah is now a tutor with TYMBA Education specialising in FR. She is also a fellow of ACCA.
