Sara Naquia started her accounting education journey with Diploma in Accountancy in Universiti Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam circa 1999-2001. After graduating with CGPA 3.68, she continued her journey by pursuing ACCA also in Universiti Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam.
Sara Naquia embarked on her career path initially in the industry with Toshiba Office Automation Distributor, Tele Dynamics Sdn Bhd for four years. In Tele Dynamics, Sara Naquia managed the treasury and accounts payable functions with Cashflows Statements, Bank Reconciliations Statement and operations. Later in 2008, she quit her job in Tele Dynamics to complete her ACCA education. She finally graduated ACCA in October 2009 in Universiti Teknologi Mara.
In November 2009, Sara Naquia resumed her career in Hewlett Packard (M) Sdn Bhd as Financial Analyst. She was assigned to the Contracts team, supporting the AMS Controller in the USA. The monthly reporting and analysis tasks being done mostly virtually as the main team was residing in Texas, USA and Guadalajara, Mexico. Therefore, she is very familiar with time zone differences and working with a virtual team and boss.
